So here's the deal guys.
It is very evident if not obvious, that our designated youth is falling back on the whole Sunday School Shpeel.
I personally believe it is all because of the lack of activity in the classes, currently all the older classes do (according to my sources) is just discussions which dont last longer than 15 minutes.
We are currently trying to coordinate with Tehmina Auntie, to create a Youth Workshop class, where we would get together and actually hold meetings every week. The content... will be, obviously, predominantly Islamic. We, without too much uncle/auntie intervention, will read books and have real discussions. The class would consist of, us doing our projects during that time (Research, Contacting, Making New Flyers*(our latest project) etc.
In order to get this workshop going, we have to guarantee the presence of atleast the majority of the members. This will all be done on an independent basis. So who'd down?? Yay or Nay?
All and any constructive feedback is welcome.
