Assalam alaikum,
According to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "There are 3 signs of a hypocrite: whenever he speaks, he lies; whenever he makes a promise, he breaks it; and whenever he is trusted, he betrays his trust." (Bukhari, Belief 24 ).

NOTE this well...do not have any of these signs, and if you know a Muslim brother or sister identified with any of these signs, advise them to drop it soonest.
